The patent pending Sonic Lounger™ is a state-of-the-art tactile sound system that massages and resonates the entire body with sonic vibration, transferring high fidelity music and low frequencies into the skin, bones and tissue. The Sonic Lounger invites the subtleties and depth of sound that cannot be heard with the ears to be viscerally experienced. Music for the whole body
Music may be played through the proprietary tactile sound delivery system of the Sonic Lounger via your choice of mp3 or CD player. Audio signals from any source, even live instruments through a microphone, may be input directly into the lounger. Whatever your musical taste, the Sonic Lounger creates an environment that enhances your appreciation and resonance of it, whether it be classical, ambient, jazz, new age or pop.
Even though most music is enhanced through the Sonic Lounger, it was created specifically for the purpose of reaping the benefits of sound and music therapy. Many artists, healing arts practitioners and musicians within the sound and music therapy genre have created soundtracks designed to entrain specific brainwave states in the listener that are conducive to either greater energy, focus and creativity or deep relaxation and meditation, some of which are made to be specifically played through tactile sound (vibroacoustics). The design conforms to each persons shape and size, reclining into zero gravity position to reduce pressure on the spine and increase the body’s capacity for circulation and deep breathing.
Bringing together the best in tactile sound technology
Utilizing the highest grade audio transducers, the Sonic Lounger incorporates eight tactile sound contact points that include the front of the body, upper and lower back, shoulders, buttocks, arms, hands, legs, feet and head. The lounger transforms to the prone position so that specific points on the back body may be contacted. The articulating arms adjust to rest comfortably on or off the body and may be moved easily by the recipient. Hand held sound wands that may be used while giving a massage are also available, providing the perfect implement for increasing the impact of the vibration on tension areas of the body. All sound components, including amplifiers, cables, cd player and transducers are included in the price of the lounger.
